Introduction to Lace Knitting
$30.00 plus materials (pattern included)
Three 1.5 hour class sessions

Ready to try knitted lace but not quite sure how to proceed? Lace is easy and enjoyable to knit. In this class participants will learn how to:
•choose a pattern that is right for you
•read lace terminlolgy in a lace pattern
•use a lace chart
•knit commonly used stitches
•fix mistakes commonly made in lace knitting
•properly block your finished knitted project

Participants will knit a lovely scarf that is customizable! You will begin with a simple 4 row lace border. When you are ready, choose one or two advance beginner lace patterns. Before you know it you are knitting lace!

Tuesday Evenings 5 - 6:30
February 2nd, 16th and March 1st
Wednesday Mornings 9 - 10:30
February 3rd, 17th and March 2nd

Walter Shroyer's recently completed work in collages and watercolors are inspired by postage stamps collected by his father.

Linda Weatherly's pattern and design fill her watercolors bringing to mind quilts and carpets, upon which stories can be told.
